This initiative is a virtual accelerator for P&G Alumni-led startups and scale-ups that offer a product or service with a proven business model that is already generating sales. We believe in the power of connection and the purpose of this initiative is to accelerate the enterprises of P&G Alumni founders by connecting them to potential advisors and investors, while elevating their global visibility.
Selected finalists will present at a Global Virtual Pitch with top global leaders from VC Funds and Global Accelerators (during February 2025). Don’t miss this opportunity to have global reach.
There will be three winners who will get free accelerator-like support for a year from a diverse P&G Alumni team of investors and seasoned start-up leaders. This includes mentoring, as well as investor and business development connections. Winners will also present their businesses to the global audience at the P&G Alumni Global Conference on June 12-14, 2025 in Berlin, one of the capitals of innovation and business growth. The overall winner will be recognized as the P&G Alumni Star Entrepreneur of 2025. You could be the one! Apply before January 31st, 2025.

Janet is a Mechanical Engineer who worked for over 23 years for Proctor & Gamble (P&G) in both the United States and Nigeria. She has clocked many “firsts” in her career and is most proud of having been the first Plant Manager for Procter & Gamble Nigeria Ltd.
Teri List served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Gap, Inc., where she oversaw the finance, real estate and information technology organizations, as well as interim oversight of supply chain. List also served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. and Kraft Foods Group. From 1994 to 2013, List was with Procter & Gamble, progressing to senior vice president and treasurer. Before this she spent over nine years at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Juliana Azevedo leads P&G ’s second largest category, Home Care, a business with meaningful value creation potential across categories and markets. The portfolio includes iconic brands such as Dawn, Cascade, Fairy, Mr. Clean, Swiffer and Febreze that strive to make household chores simpler, faster, more sustainable and accessible to everyone. Juliana also leads P&G Professional, which serves the foodservice, building, cleaning and maintenance industries with some of the world’s most trusted cleaning products. Fernando Aguirre is the former CEO of Chiquita Brands International and is currently a Professional Baseball Owner as CEO of the Erie SeaWolves (AA affiliate for the Detroit Tigers), and Vice-chair of Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Advanced A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs). Fernando also owned a minority position in the Cincinnati Reds for 14 years before divesting in 2019.
Fernando got his start at P&G, where during his 23-year tenure, became the President of P&G Brazil.
Fernando currently serves on several boards, some of which include CVS Health, Synchrony Financial, and Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Fernando’s been active in the Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics, the International Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and received the NFL’s Hispanic Heritage Leadership award in 2011. He was also the first Hispanic CEO to participate in CBS’s Undercover Boss. In a spanning conversation of fantastic stories, get ready for some lessons learned across cultures, and around the world.

Jorge Montoya was President of P&G Latin America from 1999-2004. Having spent 30 years rising through the ranks of P&G, his expertise extends across all international businesses. Jorge currently serves on Gap, Inc and Kroger boards and was named among the 50 most important Hispanics in Business & Technology. His foundation with his wife supports underserved children’s education in Peru and Venezuela.
Jorge shares his story growing up in Peru (the son of a teacher), becoming an All-American NCAA soccer player, and setting up a company in a foreign country. He shares the importance of building a business culture without compromising ethics and integrity. Ultimately, for Jorge, the most important results come from growing your business and your organization.
