The Chapter is a network organization for all former P&G employees who started their career in any of the Italian company sites. P&G Alumni Italia is a registred non-profit organization under the Italian law.
The Chapter was revamped in 2021, thanks to the leadership of Vito Varvaro (formerly GM of P&G Italia and member of the Executive committee of Tod’s SPA) and the commitment of an extended and very active Board of Directors (20 people) that combines diversity of experience, seniority and gender. The Board has to VP’s: Chiara Occulti and Renzo Rizzo.
Since its relaunch the Chapter has grown membership to over 300 people and organised 4 live events with up to 100 participants each – two in Milan and two in Rome. We also set up a collaboration with the Luiss University in Rome for mentoring/lessons which we will extend to other institutions in 2022. Communication and dialogue are kept going in between events through an active Linkedin page with over 1000 follower, a newsletter, and a dedicated web site with regularly added new contents such as posts and short videos. The work of the Chapter is sustained through a small membership fee, which is used to fund part of the communication and events organization costs. We conduct regular surveys to monitor the satisfactions with the events and the association itself, ensuring our services are aligned with the needs of our members, which are: identify new opportunities and projects, learning and connecting with likeminded colleagues, and meet old friends and socialize. Our work is organized in three areas each with assigned leadership: recruiting/engagement, enrichment and give-back (the latter we intend essentially as pro-bono teaching and sharing, while for donation and charity we refer directly to the Global Alumni Foundation).
Please contact us if you want to share ideas and opportunities for joint events or contents sharing. You can get in touch with us on segreteria@pgalumni.it or directly to the Board President and VP’s via Linkedin.
