A network organization for all former P&G employees at – or associated with – any of P&G’s sites in Germany, Austria, Switzerland through the decades.
The DACH chapter is an informal alumni network chapter. The chapter organizes networking events, both live and virtual, with anything from a social-, an entrepreneurial-, a business networking- and a clear charitable focus. Typically, the chapter organizes one big event in the SWA headquarter every two years (hosted and sponsored by P&G) and one online event every 6 months. At the big SWA event P&G gives a business update and P&G alums either present business cases or take part in a panel discussion on relevant topics of leadership, investment or sustainability. Further, there is network events in the different DACH regions, often combined with company visits. Currently these take place in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt and Cologne/Duesseldorf. Chapter events are typically in German. Chapter events can be visited by all P&G alumni, also alumni outside the DACH region. The chapter is run solely by volunteer resources. It does not ask a membership fee, but mostly live events require advance registration and are payable. Currently, the chapter is in the process of founding a charity association, the P&G Alumni Förderverein. Purpose of this association is to financially support national and international projects that improve the quality of life and the financial independence of teenagers and their families through education and coaching to become professionally independent and to develop entrepreneurial skills. Donations made to this association will be tax deductible. The P&G alumni Förderverein collaborates closely with the global P&G alumni foundation.
