Our goals are:
Connect: Facilitating connections between and among alumni for either professional/ business reasons or solely personal reasons.
Give Back: Giving back to the communities and organizations in which our members are meaningfully involved.
Enrich: Providing meaningful Enrichment opportunities for alumni.
The South Florida chapter is a formal alumni network chapter, associated as a non-profit organization. The chapter organizes networking events, both live and virtual, with anything from a social-, an entrepreneurial-, a business networking- or a charitable focus. Typically the chapter organizes 4 or 5 events per calendar year. We also support the Global Alumni organization and its events.
Chapter events are typically in English although obviously informal events could be organized in other languages as appropriate given how multi-cultural the South Florida region is. The chapter is open to membership for ALL alumni that are currently residing in the South Florida region.
The chapter is run solely by volunteer resources. It does not ask a membership fee but mostly live events require advance registration and some are payable, including an option for making charitable donations. Alumni at businesses could also sponsor a speaker or an event.
