Dear fellow P&G Alumni,

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 9/11 Day will host community meal packing

events in 21 cities across the country, including Los Angeles. In total, more than 20,000 volunteers will gather to assemble 9 million meals for those at risk of hunger in their local communities. “Support Staff” volunteers help make sure that everything runs smoothly, that everyone has a great time and that all our meals get packed and delivered to where they will do the most good.

Join fellow P&G Alums in Los Angeles for this annual day of service tradition.

Below is some information on the LA Meal Pack for 9/11 Day.

9/11 DAY NEEDS 280 SUPPORT STAFF VOLUNTEERS TO HELP LEAD OUR 2024

LOS ANGELES MEAL PACK FOR 9/11 DAY.

Event Location: Event Deck at LA Live – 1005 Chick Hearn Ct, Los Angeles, CA 90015. (LA Live, Top Floor of the West Lot)

Times: Individuals are asked to sign up for either the 8:15-1pm shift or 11:15-4pm shift. Groups of P&G Alumni will likely be working on both shifts. For those who want to get together afterwards, we will be meeting at 4pm at “Yard House” in LA Live.

The Commitment: One-hour training session via Zoom, will be scheduled for the week before the event. Roughly 4 hours on the day of the event. Shift times may vary depending on the city. * Please note that these are unpaid, volunteer positions.

Exclusive Invitation: Join Us for a Guided Tour of JPL & Happy Hour!

– ID Requirement: First and last names **MUST** match your government-issued ID for entry to JPL.

– The cost of the Happy Hour event afterward will be covered by each attendee.
