Introducing the Keystone Award
In architecture, the keystone is the piece that holds everything together. Today, the P&G Alumni Network board announces our first Keystone Award. It will be given out very infrequently and only to an individual who, by their actions, has enabled the Network to exist, thrive, and grow into a community where we can all belong.
Our first Keystone Award recipient is AG Lafley.
Up until the year 2000, when someone left Procter & Gamble, other than as a retiree, they were cut off from the Company. That all changed in the summer of 2000 when, at a reunion of P&G alumni in Chicago, AG Lafley – who had been named President and CEO just the day before – arrived at that reunion and spoke. By this one simple act, AG demonstrated that even after leaders left the company they still belonged to the broader P&G family.
That was the impetus for a handful of alumni to create the P&G Alumni Network. And throughout his tenure as CEO of the Company, AG provided the critical support necessary for the Network to grow and thrive. It is for these reasons – his commitment, his support, and his belief in what this Network is and can be – we honor AG Lafley as our first Keystone Award recipient.
The award will be presented at the Global Conference in Cincinnati next Spring. Join us in honoring him.

Honor a Colleague – Past or Present
Honor a P&G colleague who made a difference in your life or career by naming a table in the conference ballroom in their honor.
For USD $3,000, a custom placard recognizing that colleague and their impact will be displayed at the table throughout the two days of the main conference.
The recognition is exclusively for individuals — past or present — not companies. Naming rights do not include the seats at the table, which remain open to registered conference delegates.
We look forward to welcoming
you home to Cincinnati.
