What makes it different

This is not coaching. This is not consulting.
It is practical wisdom, honest perspective, and real-world experience, shared from one alum to another.

  • Trust first: The best starting point for mentorship is not advice. It is trust. Every pairing begins with a conversation, not a lecture.
  • Better questions: Progress does not always come from being handed the answer. Sometimes it comes from being asked the better question.
  • Real goals: Every pairing is built around one clear development goal. No vague networking. No wandering chats.
  • Real follow-through: Mentees do the work between conversations. That is where momentum comes from.

Two paths: Give back or grow forward.

1. Become a Mentor
Share your experience. Help one alum move forward.

You have learned things no course could teach. What worked. What did not. What you wish someone had told you sooner.

As a mentor, you will support one mentee through a focused journey built around their development goal. You bring perspective, honest feedback, and good questions. You do not need all the answers.

Mentors are a great fit if you:

  • Are a P&G alum with professional experience worth sharing
  • Enjoy listening as much as advising
  • Can make time for regular conversations throughout the program

Your experience may be exactly what helps someone else take their next step.

2. Find Your Mentor
Get guidance from someone who has walked part of the road before you.

You do not need your whole career figured out to apply. That may be exactly why mentorship matters.
As a mentee, you will be matched with an experienced alum who can offer perspective, guidance, and practical wisdom. You set the goal. You do the work. You get a thinking partner along the way.

Mentees are a great fit if you are navigating:

  • A career question or crossroads
  • A leadership challenge
  • A transition into a new role, industry, or chapter
  • A growth moment you want to make the most of

How it Works

The Mentorship Journey

A few focused conversations. A real development goal. Trust, honest perspective, and follow-through. That combination creates more movement than a hundred generic networking conversations.

  • Apply: Tell us who you are, what you bring, and what you are looking for. Applications close October 16th.
  • Get Matched: Our team pairs mentors and mentees based on goals, experience, and function.
  • First Coffee Connect: Where mentorship begins: trust, curiosity, and one good conversation. You set the goal together.
  • Do the work: Meet for one hour a month through January 2027, with a minimum of three sessions. Mentees take action between conversations. That is where the real progress happens.
  • Midpoint reflection: Progress is not always loud. Sometimes it is a clearer decision, a stronger boundary, or a more honest conversation. Pause and take stock.
  • Complete the cohort: Mentorship completed. Momentum started. Close with a reflection on what shifted and where you go next. The formal program ends here, but the best mentorships do not have an end date. If yours is working, we hope you keep it going.

What We Ask of You
Show up. Do the work. Share your story.

Your time goes into the mentorship, not into marketing it. We ask for just two posts.

  • When you join: Share that you are in. We will send a branded “I’m a Mentor,” “I’m a Mentee,” or “I’m In” frame, plus a caption template you can make your own.
  • When you finish: Share a short reflection or thank-you post.
  • Want to share more along the way? Optional templates are ready for your First Coffee Connect, an a-ha moment, or a midpoint reflection.

FAQ

Who can apply?

Anyone who is a member of the P&G Alumni Network is invited to apply as a mentor or mentee.

Do I need to know exactly what I want from mentorship?

No. You do not need your whole career figured out. You and your mentor will shape one clear development goal together at your First Coffee Connect.

How is this different from coaching?

Coaching is a professional service. Mentorship here is peer to peer: one alum sharing real-world experience and honest perspective with another. No one is selling anything.

How much time will it take?

One hour per month over a three-month period. Virtual sessions are scheduled by each pair at times that work for both of you.

How are mentors and mentees matched?

Our team pairs mentors and mentees based on goals, experience, and function.

Is it virtual or in person?

Virtual.

Does it cost anything?

The mentorship program is free for P&G Alumni Network members.

Do I have to post on social media?

We ask for two posts: one when you join and one when you finish. Templates are provided. Everything else is optional.

Are conversations confidential?

Yes. What is said between a mentor and mentee stays between them. We ask every participant to treat shared stories, goals, and challenges with discretion. When you post about the programme, share only your own experience, and never your partner’s details without their permission.
