THE NEW BOARD GAME
Positioning, preparing, and getting visible for your first (or next) board seat

Hosted by the P&G Alumni UAE Chapter and the P&G Alumni Women’s Leadership Forum

📅 Thursday, November 5th ·  🕡 6:30 – 8:30 PM ·  📍 Dubai ·  🎟 100AED ·  Places are limited!

Board seats are not awarded by chance. They are earned through positioning, preparation, and visibility.

The board landscape is changing fast. Boards in the region are under growing pressure to bring in new skills in digital, sustainability, and consumer insight, and to diversify who sits around the table. Many seasoned operators are well placed to fill those gaps. Too few know how the process actually works or how to get noticed in it.

Join us for an evening panel with board directors and governance experts who have been through the process. They’ll share how seats really get filled and what boards are looking for now.

What you’ll walk away with

• How board appointments really happen: who makes the decisions, where searches start, and how to get onto the shortlist
• How to reframe an executive career for the boardroom: the move from operator to overseer
• Preparation that counts: governance credentials, board CVs, and what experience actually matters
• Building visibility: the networks and reputation that make your name come up first

The panel
Our panel of board directors, chairs, and governance experts will be announced soon. Register now and you’ll be the first to know.

Who should attend
This evening is for senior leaders with 15+ years of experience who are thinking seriously about non-executive or advisory board roles. That includes people actively pursuing a first seat and people who simply want to understand the path.
