Geneva Chapter

The Geneva chapter is a formal alumni network chapter, associated as a non-profit club under Swiss legislation. The chapter organises networking events, both live and virtual, with anything from a social-, an entrepreneurial-, a business networking- or a charitable focus. Typically the chapter organises 4 or 5 events per calendar year, with the annual general meeting a typical highlight as it’s often hosted by P&G at GBC where the serving President for P&G EMEA gives a business update in addition to hosting a social event. The chapter facilitates both professional and private networking between its members and very much encourages ad hoc and unofficial network activity in addition to the formal programme. Chapter events are typically in English although obviously informal events will be organised in other languages as appropriate. The chapter is open to membership for ALL alumni regardless of whether they worked in Geneva; events also welcome participants from across EMEA. The Geneva chapter also serves as a hub and resource for other EMEA-based alumni chapters, on request. The chapter is run solely by volunteer resources. It does not ask a membership fee but mostly live events require advance registration and are payable, including an option for making charitable donations. The chapter is also the liaison to the Geneva-based P&G Retirees’ network and is effectively also the chapter for all alumni anywhere in Switzerland.
